God weeps too

I wept today for a man that I didn’t even know. He was fighting a terminal cancer. As I wept for this stranger, it got me thinking. If we can weep for someone we’ve never met, how often God must weep for us, His children. It was never His intention to watch us suffer, it was a choice that was made in Eden. God doesn’t find joy in our suffering. He wants the best for us so much, that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for us. So, we can have a choice to be with Him someday in Heaven. How wonderful that will be! God truly loves us and wants the best for us, and when we walk with Him this fact is made clearer. I don’t know what that man’s future holds. But I do know, God loves him and holds him. Just like God does us. Maybe God will perform a miracle, but even if not, God still does care and loves him tremendously. As He does all of us. God does still have a plan for that man. Just as He does us. Friend, I wept for a stranger and as I wept, I know God did too.
