The other day, I didn’t want to. I didn’t want to get out of bed. I didn’t want to go get groceries. I didn’t want to do housework. I just wanted to have a lazy day. Although I knew, things had to get done. I felt God encouraging me to get up. So, somewhat reluctantly, I did.  I got out of bed. I got groceries. I got housework done. Through one step at a time, God kept giving me what I needed to accomplish my goals. So much so, that I got things done, big things, that weren’t even on my list! My husband came home from work to a tired, but happy wife. I felt pretty accomplished too. When my husband thanked me for all that I did, I made sure to send credit to God, who helped me along. Friend, we are human. Sometimes we might have an I don’t want to day. Though if we just get up, bring God alongside us, it’s amazing what we can accomplish! It sure feels good to get things checked off my list to do. “Thank you, God, I know that was you.”
