I heard a story of a man that got swept away in the ocean after a plane crash. To add insult to injury, he eventually lost his life preserver due to the strong currents. To add to this, he was completely surrounded by fog and could not see where he was or what was around him. Then, a miracle happened! He could see a light in the near distance. So, with every ounce of energy, he swam toward it, leading him to dry ground and then to safety. From there the man was then taken to get medical help where he made a full recovery. In life, we may feel like that man. When things don’t go as planned and we may be trying to keep our head above water. Maybe we are not sure where to go and can’t quite see what’s ahead. Then, God shines His light for us, leading us to safety. Friend, in all we go through in life may we find peace in knowing, that God will safely guide us through it all with His light and His love.

Psalm 27:1 NIV
The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?
