He didn’t have to and I never asked him to. Though he eagerly asked me if I would like him to make dinner. Normally, in our house, I typically make dinner. My husband comes home from work and shortly thereafter dinner is served. I happily do this as to ease the burden from his heavy work week and I love cooking for my family. Although, there are those times where I need him to step into that role. Having him do so without being asked, is always a blessing. This week, has been one of those weeks. This week, he really stepped up and made great meals! It truly is a blessing when we can find ways to help one another, ease a burden, or anything that just helps each other out. Whether big or small. We are in this life together and how wonderful it is when we can be there to make life a little easier for one another. Friend, God knew we would need each other. May we help when we are able as much as we are able. I could smell the lovely meal as I walked in the door. The food was prepared and looked amazing. Now my belly is filled with a wonderful dinner my husband prepared and so is my heart from his thoughtfulness. What a blessing it is from God for us to have one another, to lighten the load when we just need a little extra help.
