I wish sin didn’t come so naturally

And doing good is what I always did instead

That I always had good intentions

And I always used my head

Being human is not always easy

For we are plagued by sin its true

Oh Lord, I am working toward

Being more like You

I am grateful for Your mercy

As I learn to call my brokenness out

So grateful for Your grace

As I am learning more about

My need for You, my Savior

How I can no longer try to hide

How I need you to cleanse me

Right from the inside

Am I as You have called me to be

Learning to evaluate who I really am

Am I living for You Lord

Am I being the best I can

When others look upon me

Do they see the good You’ve done

Is it clear that I was truly saved, by Your only Son

Examine me Lord

Tell me what do you see

Because I really want to walk with You
