Choose to be patient

I need to be more patient

When my patience is wearing thin

I know I need to give more grace

And choose to be like Him

To just take a breath

Let God work it out

Instead of just letting

All my frustration come about

To just calm down

Go to God and pray

Knowing He will calm my heart

And all will be okay

Patience can be difficult

For people seem to like to test

But may we choose to act like Jesus

And instead choose to act our best

Choose to be patient

Colossians 3:12-13 NIV

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Ephesians 4:2 NIV

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

1 Timothy 1:16 NIV

But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life.

Galatians 5:22-23 NIV

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
