The greatest Artist

While my boys and I spent some time outside today I found myself completely distracted by a butterfly. A monarch one to be exact. I was captivated by it, so much so, that my boys were a little ahead of me down the trail. But I just stood there in awe of its beauty. God truly is the greatest artist. As I watched the butterfly fly around, I felt a sense of peace. Sometimes we can be in such a hurry to get to the next destination, that we forget to pause at the beauty of His creation. Friend, may in everything we do, our day to day, we take the time to stop and pause. To just look around at the beauty of God’s creation. Whether it be nature in general, or that little bird in your tree, or maybe, a beautiful butterfly that greets you. For in doing so, we can see more of His beauty, His peace, His artwork. May we give Him all the praise for truly He is the greatest artist and how blessed are we to be surrounded by so much of His beauty.

The greatest Artist

Psalm 19:1-4 NIV

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voicegoes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
