I don’t need to be everyone’s favorite

I just need to live like Jesus its true

I don’t want to be like the world

I want to walk in His truth

I don’t need to be the coolest one in the room

Some will say, we need to fit in

But I know the truth is

We need to be more like Him

Less like the world

And who they want us to be

But instead walk with Jesus

Living for Him, instead of simply me

I may not be popular

I may not be liked by everyone I know

But what matters most

Is allowing my faith walk to grow

I don’t need to be everyone’s favorite

Only to be lost in worldly sin

I know the truth is, I need to be like Jesus

And live for Him
