I do really love people. Although there are special people in my life that I love extra; my children and my husband especially. However, I can honestly say I love God the most. Not because I am a perfect christian. It is because I know God is perfect and how blessed are we to be loved so deeply and cared for so wonderfully by our Creator, our Father in heaven, our Savior. This does not mean that my faith walk is always smooth. This does not mean that my trust in Him always comes easily. This does not mean that I don’t get afraid. It means that despite all that at times, I know that I can always depend on Him and that I love Him more than anything. It is in that, where I ultimately find my comfort, my hope, and my peace. Though I love God the most, I know my love is not perfect. Though I know, His is. This is why I love Him the most. I love His perfect, unchanging, fervent, dependable, sacrificial, unconditional, perpetual love. How can we not love Him most? We will never find a more beautiful love, than from the One in which created us. Even the best, most loving person that we know, can never quite compete with God. May we all love Him most, for surely, He is the most deserving of it. I love people, I love my favorite ones extra, but God, I love Him the most.
