I had some stuff to do today

But I started out not feeling well

I thought how can I make it through

I have yet to tell

So, in a place of worry

And maybe some dismay

I closed my eyes, and bowed my head

And then began to pray

Lord, I need your healing touch

Please, just to get me through

Then suddenly I got better

I thought, “Lord, that must be you”

For it has been proven to me

Time and time again

That His healing love

Is something we can depend

I had some stuff to do today

And though I started out not feeling well

My day went pretty great

His mercy I want to share and tell

For in our time of need

God also meets us there

With His loving grace

And His mercy and His care
