It started with a piece of paper and a dream. Sketched out in perfect detail and sealed with a prayer. Then bit by bit, that dream started to become a reality. Boards created a foundation. Drywall made it its own space. Paint made it look more official. Then everything else that was put in those four walls made it complete. Every screw holding it together to make it the space we worked so very hard for. It didn’t happen overnight, it took time. Though time well taken, turning a piece of paper into a reality. Done. After many months. My husband and I stared at our completed downstairs bathroom, we did it. By God’s grace, we did it. We learned a lot along the way, we created memories in the project and we made another dream, together, come true. Our children witnessed that with hard work, things can be made possible. Even if it takes some patience and a lot of grit along the way. As humans, we try to rush things. We say a prayer and want what we want, right away. Sometimes, that is God’s will and that’s pretty great! Though other times, things take time. We prayed many times, during many steps along the way. For us, it took longer then originally planned. Though looking back, I wouldn’t change it. God helped us through it all. Every detail. Every step. Every corner. God was there to give us wisdom, knowledge, strength and everything else we needed. I don’t know if you are working towards something friend, but if you are or plan to, pray over your project through every step. Or maybe it’s not a project, maybe it’s just a special prayer between you and God that you want to make happen. If it His will and you do your part, it will happen when it is meant to. Trust Him in the process. It started out as a piece of paper with a drawn-out dream. Now, it’s an answered prayer. Keep praying friend and watch what He will help you complete.
