Work in progress

I have been doing a lot of projects around my house lately to better our home. Some of these projects made me think, “why didn’t I do it this way sooner? This is so much better!” Though the thing is, I didn’t know what I know now, and that it would be better. Life is like that, we sometimes look back at our past and think, “why didn’t I do this or that better?” Though maybe, because we didn’t know, what we do now.  When we learn though, it is up to us to do better, to be better.  As humans we are all learning, no matter our age. We have a choice of what we do with what we learn through lessons in life. We can be stagnant, or we can improve and in doing so, do it for God’s glory. Just like all these projects that have made our house better, I have become better than I was from my past. Although I admit, I am still learning how to be the best version of myself, but I sure am wiser than I once was. Friend, may we constantly be growing in our walk with the Lord and who He calls us to be. I think of all that I accomplished lately in my home, I know God had his hand in it all, as He still does. Though more than that, I think of who I was and how I have learned much over the years because of His grace, mercy and love. We are all always a work in progress. Though I like where I am progressing; heavenward.

Work in progress

2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
