If I could be like Jesus, if I could love like Him

If I could be perfect, my soul without sin

If I could be filled with kindness always on display

If I always walked in His way

If I could always have wisdom to be said

If always love is what I chose instead

If I could always live in a way that does heal

Living with grace, instead of just how I feel

If I could be more patient, in all things

Knowing we all need it, as human beings

If I could offer more smiles, more shared joy

To live in gratitude in life more to enjoy

If I could be more generous in however I am called to be

If I could live like Jesus, instead of just being me

We must be more like Jesus, and give up our sin

Asking Him to come in our hearts, so we can be like Him
