We sat at a performance. I watched as the mama’s held their cameras out, trying to capture those very special moments. Those in which their children shine, laughter exists, and memories are captured. I glance over as one young mom watches her kindergartener perform, grinning from ear to ear. Even more happy for her daughter in that moment, then even her daughter was for herself. I couldn’t help but to smile with them. For I know I too feel the same way for my children.  I can just picture God looking at us with that same love. So proud of us when we let our light shine. Using the gifts He gives us for His glory and to bring joy to others. I can just see Him smiling, cheering us on to do and be our best. Friend, when we live as God has called us to and we use those gifts He gave us, I promise God is front and center, cheering us on. Our biggest fan. So may we go out and shine our lights for Him. The performance has ended and my heart is full and so is my camera, filled with videos of captured joy.
