We always want more for those that we love. We want them to be filled with joy, having great health, safety, security, to be at peace. Though I have come to find that the best way we can offer them this is to make sure that they not only know about our Lord, but walk with Him. For just as we want all those things for our loved ones not only can God offer those things, He wants that for us too. Loving and walking with God doesn’t mean we won’t have hardships. Though when we do, we can also still find goodness through them, because God’s goodness. Friend, we can do all that we can for those that we love. But God, He can go beyond and offer them even more than we can. May we pray for those we love; may as we nurture our faith; we help them with theirs too. For in doing so, not only will the here and now be better, but we will have the hope of heaven someday with them. That my friend, is the most anyone can ever have. As I sit and write this, I think of my favorite people and how I will always want more for them, the best that I can offer them. Though I know I can do my part in this, I know that without God we can’t fully have the best. For God is the best. I hope I have done my part in loving them enough, to show them this wonderful truth.
