Life can be a little unexpected sometimes. Things may happen that we didn’t plan for. Maybe would not have ever expected. We can plan all we want in life, and having a good plan is a good thing. Though I have found that sometimes our plans, look different than God’s. Though despite this, we can know that we can still find peace in this, simply because God is good. He is faithful and shown us over and over through the years that He really does work all things out for our good. All for His bigger plan and purpose. Even if we don’t always understand it. God never promised that things would always go our way. In fact, looking back, I can find many times I am glad that they didn’t. Though God has always promised to be with us through all of our journeys in this life. We can choose to stomp our feet, yell or cry when things don’t happen the way that we choose them. When they happen unexpectedly in ways we did not plan. Having those emotions is normal and it is ok to express them in a healthy manner. Though through it we must go to God, and in the end, we must get up and trust Him in whatever chapters we are in. Maybe things will generally go mostly planned in our lives, God’s will may align with ours. Though if it doesn’t, we can lean into God, knowing He will carry us through. He has a plan for our good and we can trust Him to be with us through the journey. Life can be unexpected, though we can always expect God to be there with us through it all. For He goes with us through everything in life, and lovingly so.
