Worldly sin

I turn it off. I tune it out. I stop reading the dysfunction that has come about.

All the violence, all the shootings, all the hate.

I pray that sin would dissipate.

All the indifference, separation and political uproar, there is a way to make a difference and ask for more

Though violence, never has or will ever be,

a way to make a difference for you and me.

Misguided views lead to corruption.

In its place, brokenness and dysfunction

We must fight lovingly like His word instructs, like our God above. Fight with His truth, His word and His love.

For it isn’t people we fight against, but forces of the enemy and his evil schemes. It is time we make God our everything.

For without Him, we truly will be lost. In doing so, will pay the cost.

We can tune it out, turn it off, choose to try and not see. Though sins dysfunction is around you and me.

So, we must go to God and let Him lead. For we will find He is what we need.

Until the day God calls for those who love Him home to be with Him. We mustn’t let the enemy win.

I turn in; to talk with God, I tune into Him. Lord, please help us with this worldly sin.

Worldly sin

Ephesians 6:12 NIV

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Roman’s 6:17-18 NIV

But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

John 16:33 NIV

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
