As parents, none of us are perfect. Though those of us who are good, always have the best interest of our children. That doesn’t mean that we will get everything right, all the time. However, I do know that God gives us the children that we are meant to have. He hand picked us for them, knowing we would be the right parents for our child. I know some parents that do things differently than my husband and I. They too are good, loving, parents and their children are also great kids. Though God knew this, that we would all have different ways of parenting. We all have different children too, with different personalities, quirks, interest and God knew that we would be the best parent for them. Friend, no parent is perfect. Though we are perfectly chosen for our children. May we parent them as God has called us to and in a way that we know is best for our child. Though it is always okay to listen to wise advice, may we go to God for the ultimate wisdom. May we trust that through His wisdom, that we are good enough for this very important blessing called parenthood.
