I have come to learn in life people love to form their own ideas about who we are as people. They base it off their own perception; however, that may be. Some people may think one thing; some may think another. So, the best thing we can do is just be our best selves and pay no mind to others thoughts of us. This can be difficult at times. It’s much easier to want to defend our character, but its best not to. The best way to defend who we are is worrying about being our best self as Christ- followers and God’s opinion of us and our character. Often, we won’t live up to everyone’s idea of who we should be. So, let’s just be who God calls us to be. We can be really great, godly, people too and some may still say we aren’t good enough. Pay no mind, their opinions don’t define our worth, God does. Friend, if you are being misjudged, or treated unkindly, chin up. Keep living your life for the Lord and know, you are enough. In fact, God say’s you’re to die for. Remember most of all, it His opinion that matters most.

His opinion matters most
John 12:42-43 NIV
Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved human praise more than praise from God.
Isaiah 51:7 NIV
“Hear me, you who know what is right, you people who have taken my instruction to heart: Do not fear the reproach of mere mortals or be terrified by their insults.
Galatians 1:10 NIV
Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.
1 Thessalonians 2:4 NIV
On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.
