There is a lot of hurt in the world. From natural disasters, sicknesses, hardships, grieving. There is just so much brokenness and devastation in our world. We must help when we can, if we are able. Though something we can always do, is pray for one another. I know recently in parts of China and Nepal there are those suffering in various ways from the devastating flooding and mudslides. All around us, whether here in the United States or other countries there is always a need for prayer. There are always ways we can help, by offering that prayer. I cannot tell you why God allows for some things to happen. Although I can promise you, that He has a reason, and His plans are bigger than ours. Though whatever the reason may be, the best thing we can do is go to Him in prayer and pray for those in need. There may be hurt in this world, but we serve an incredible and loving God. May we go to Him in prayer, and watch what only He can do!

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
