A younger blind boy stands atop a high diving board. Below him, 12 feet of deep water. At first, he is frightened, for he can’t see how far he will fall. His sister encourages him, that he will be ok, to make the jump. So, he steps off the diving board, into the pool below him. He then rises, swims out, exiting the pool with a very joyous smile. He did it! He conquered his fear and took the plunge. Life can feel like this sometimes. We can’t always see what’s ahead of us. This can be frightening at times. Though God gently and lovingly nudges us forward. Encouraging our hearts that we will be ok.  When we put our trust in God and that He won’t let us fail, we can rise and come out smiling. We can take that plunge forward knowing that He has us. The boy took a leap of faith and came out ahead smiling. With God, we can too friend.
