I walked through a garden, where nature had overgrown
Leaving flowers everywhere, all to be shown
Ivy and leaves and insects too
Growing and thriving, some of them new
The sun shined in the sky, revealing more to be seen
What a beautiful, lovely, glorious, scene
I bent down to look at a bumblebee
God revealing so much beauty to me
I watched a bug, though I did not know its name
But it was neat, all the same
Oh, what wonder I did find
In the garden where I left busyness behind
In the quiet with nature, I walked
Seeing Gods creation is something to be sought
So many colors kissed the ground below
Blooming and thriving, getting ready to grow
Time had come, so from the garden I left behind
Though it was more than flowers that I did find
I found my solitude in the beauty He had shown
In the garden so beautifully, overgrown
