As I sat on my front step the other day the warm spring wind blew on me, and I watched my dog wander about in our yard. Everything seemed peaceful and I just paused, and thanked God for everything in my life. Everything in my life has not been perfect and I know that life here won’t be. Although I also know, that I am so grateful for so many kind and gracious things God has blessed me with. He blesses us all with so much, and not nearly often, do we just simply thank Him. We go to Him in prayer when we want something, but how often do we just simply say, “thank you God.” Friend, may we take the time, to thank God for all He has done and continues to do. Not to mention, simply praising Him for our hope of heaven someday. I sat on my front porch thanking God for so much and in my gratitude, I could really see His goodness. How blessed are we, by He, who loves us most. May in our prayer request, we not forget to praise Him.

Psalm 103:1-5 NIV

Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
