There are some random daffodils placed throughout my yard, very likely from the birds that scattered the seeds. I love how these beautiful yellow flowers randomly appeared. I also have some other pretty purple flowers that have come to bloom, likely from the birds too. There was a day where I just felt a little down and I went outside and I saw these unexpected flowers. I couldn’t help but think that God uses even the seemingly small things to give us added joy. Seeing these flowers that day gave me exactly that. Actually, even just being outside in nature does that. I love hearing the birds chirp and sing their melodies. The curious squirrels as they sneak and amusingly eat the bird seed. All the critters and the big beautiful trees and the beautiful flowers that bloom. Being near water. There is so much beauty in God’s creation and often we just need to step out and enjoy it. No matter the season. From snow to sunshine. We all need to take a breath and enjoy God’s nature. For not only is it beautiful, calming and refreshing, but it has a way of making us feel more connected to our Creator.
