Rest in God

Sometimes I let fear consume my mind

Logic hard to grasp, hard to find

When I don’t place God where worry should be

I let anxiety, get the best of me

Though when I remember that God has it worked out

I feel His peace in place of doubt

In prayer and on bended knee

I know He listens, as He takes care of me

When life seems heavy or uncertain to Him, I go

Solace in God, as my faith does grow

So let our hearts not grow weary with trepidation

But let our hearts rush to Him with celebration

And may we let God consume our mind

For He is always near and always easy to find

For we know, in God we can rest

In Him, who works out all things best

Rest in God

Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
