We took down our Christmas decorations yesterday evening. After doing so, we rearranged our living room. Sometimes it’s just nice to give things a fresh new look. My favorite chair now sits in a different spot, offering a new perspective of our living room. Friend, although there was nothing wrong with my living room before, it sure is nice to see things from a different angle. It got me thinking sometimes how in life when things are not going as we’d hoped we tend to get stuck on only seeing things through our lenses. But when we change our perspective and have God be our focus it is there, we can find comfort in knowing that he sees the bigger picture in how things will be best. Friend, may we always keep our vantage point on God, allowing us to see through His perspective, or at least trust His angle. I sat in my chair and I looked around; I liked how things looked. Just as I like how things look when I keep my focus on God.
