“Worry ends where faith begins.” I don’t know who said this, but a magnet hangs on my fridge with this quote. Serving as a reminder that I need to surrender all of my fears into God’s capable and loving hands. Trusting that God has it all under control and lovingly so. I do need this reminder from time to time; as I too allow myself to be consumed with things out of my hands. I sometimes forget to place prayer where fear tries to be. I let worry take the place of trust. And other times, I allow anxiety to overshadow faith. Though I have found that when I am reminded about God’s goodness, faithfulness, and His love it is there where I can find my security, my peace, and my hope. Thus, allowing me to not be so overcome with my anxious heart. Friend, we are not immune to fear. But we can choose whether to replace it with our faith instead. May we hang tight to our Father in Heaven, when the enemy tries to steal our peace. For with God, worry can end and faith can begin. Hold onto His hope, trust in His plan, and know that He has it all in His hands.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.
Philippians 4:6-7 NIV
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Joshua 1:9 NIV
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
