Be kind to God’s creatures

I love animals of all sorts. I have a few myself. If I wasn’t being so reasonable, I’d have more. Although I know owning a horse, a goat and a donkey isn’t ideal where I live. Although any chance I get to pet an animal and give it attention I can’t help but do so. Whether it’s asking a stranger if I can pet their dog or spending way too much time in the petting zoo with the goats. I just love all these critters that God created. Like my dog for example, I love coming home and watching her bark in excitement and jump around because she is so happy to see me, as I am her. My cats always make me laugh with the silly, yet sweet, and sometimes mischievous things that they do. My one cat if you leave an open cup of water out, she will gladly see it as an invitation to share with her and drink it. There are a lot of animals out there looking for homes and some just needing us to be kind to them. I recently read that some kittens were left in the cold to die because someone chose not to care for them or at least, find them a proper home. There are a lot of stories like this, I won’t share them all here as I am sure you friend have heard ones like it too. I am writing this today as I truly believe animals are blessings too and whether we can or we choose to own one or it is an animal to be owned, we must be kind to all God’s creatures. I can only imagine God being so tender and kind to all His creation. Just like He is us. May we be kind to all creatures big and small, for truly God too, loves them all.
