There was a song that I heard recently that sent a beautiful memory right to my heart. It was a memory of a song my oldest son and I danced in the living room to, when he was just a little boy. He doesn’t remember it, but to me, it is a memory forever etched into my heart. As he is becoming more grown, we are creating different types of special memories. Seeing him off to his first dance, and with a date! Watching him move up to the major league level in youth baseball and start another year of high school. Through all these memories and milestones, I’m soaking it all in. For as he grows someday into a man, I know these too will be memories, as more life milestones are created. I’m in the corner cheering him on. Though loving him just as I always have, tremendously. From that small boy who danced with me in the living room, to the teenage boy, taking our car keys out for a drive. It got me thinking, God too is here for us, His children. Here for all the milestones. From the very beginning, up to this very moment and every moment that follows. Friend, we are so loved by God, more than we can fathom. He is with us cheering us on. May we always remember no matter what stage in life we are at, we are loved tremendously by our Father in Heaven. My son stands taller than myself and his cheeks on his face are becoming more defined, his voice deeper and his boyish grin, smiles back at me with maturity. I am here for it, every bit I can be. As I too know, as is God, all with an unending love.

Romans 8:38-39 NIV
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Matthew 28:20 NIV
and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
