Must we be so quick to judge
So quick to assume and hold a grudge
Why do we think we are better
When we know not the things they weather
Why do we criticize and be unkind
Or choose to give a piece of our mind
Why do we categorize what people matter more
When God has said, we’re all to die for
Where is the love, the kind we are called to
Both from me and from you
For no one in better, we’re all plagued the same
What good does it to put down and shame
We all are all sinners, no one is perfect here
We all have fallen short, let me make that clear
So, when temptation comes to judge or be unkind
Think with love, and may we use our mind
For we are called to be like Jesus, so what would He do
He would choose love, instead of being cruel
Someday the end will come and we all will be judged
Did we live with love or hold a grudge
Were we like Christ in how we did live
Choosing kindness and a heart to forgive
Friend as we go about in our day to day
May we be like Christ, this I do pray

Be like Christ
Matthew 7:1-2 NIV
“Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
