I have always felt as though having kids is like having your heart go walking outside of your chest. The love we feel for them is indescribable. Even as they grow up, our love still remains the same. We worry for them and so we pray for them. We pray that they make the right choices and that they stay safe and well. I can’t even fathom how much God loves us that He was willing to sacrifice His only Son to give us everlasting life. His love for us is beyond comprehension and beyond reason. We don’t deserve it, but yet He sees us as worthy for simply being His creation; His children. Just as we want good for our children in our lives, He wants the best for us too. Just as we ask our children to follow our instructions for their good; He is asking us to follow His. Friend, you are so loved. His love for us and our children we cannot even fathom. As we love our children, may we teach them to love our God too. For the very best way we can love our children, is to teach them about the love their Father in heaven has for them.
