We build our identities frequently around our kids, our spouses, our careers. So often around many different titles. When first and foremost we need to build our identities around who God says that we are. For if we know who we are as God’s children, everything else falls into place. So, when we focus on following His directions and listening to His word, we can see who we were created to be. We can better be all of those other things. For knowing who we are in Christ helps us be our best selves, and living to our fullest potential. It is in Him also, where we see our worth and He says we are cherished, loved and to die for.
