I was grumpy for a bit today. I feel bad about it. I apologized for it. Fortunately, I was forgiven for it. Though I had let my emotions be bigger than my sense. The Bible talks about being careful what we say and how we act. To not think with emotions, but to be wise. To react how Jesus would. Although there were times today that I did not. In fact, I was grumpy to someone who didn’t even deserve it. I will continue to work on having wisdom rule, when emotions try to take over. Friend, it is so easy to be swept away with our feelings. Though it is all too important to use wisdom and discernment. As I too am learning, may we go to God when our emotions are big and use His wisdom on how to best move forward. May we remember this always. For it is much better to thank God that things were handled well, then to make things worse by handling them emotionally and making things worse. For when we handle things as God has instructed, things are always better handled.

Ephesians 4:26-27 NIV
“In your anger do not sin.” Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.
