In His nature

There were wildflowers growing in abundance, surrounded by trees of different kinds and birds that rested on nearby branches or flew in the blue sky. It was a quiet walk and my husband and I enjoyed it in peaceful serenity. Though I tried to capture the beauty behind my camera lens, it could not be completely captured in its entirety. For it is hard to fully capture God’s beauty in a photo. It is much better to experience it in person, if we are able. My camera lens could not capture the refreshing, slight breeze and the smell of the wildflowers wafting through the air. There is something so healing about being in God’s nature. Something so therapeutic about being away from all the hustle and bustle. For everything felt still and as though we were one with nature.

Often in life we do not take near enough time for rest in nature. Though I am fully convinced we need to more frequently. There is something so special about being in nature and reveling in His beautiful creation. Friend, may we make time, to take the time, to spend in nature. For it is there where we can better see His beauty and better feel His peace.

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Romans 1:20 NIV

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
