On my grandpa’s 18th Birthday, he spent it in a foxhole. He was training in the Army. He was always thinking about others. When he was even younger, he quit school and started working to support his single mom and three sisters. When he married my grandma, he always loved and cared for her. When he became a father, he would work long hours and come home and be a helper to his bride and still make the time for play with his children. He lived a fairly long life and was ready to go when his time had come. He had an incredible love for God and I look forward to seeing him again someday. My grandpa was a good example of what it means to be a godly man, leading with love. I have since married and found that in my husband too. Although I share my grandpa’s story as not just a tribute to a wonderful man that has since passed; but one in which is a grand example of what it means to lead with love.
Friend, may we be the people that God has designed us to be. Leading with love, the way that God had in mind. I know that family dynamics can be different in every family. Some come from single parent homes that is out of their control. Although, the best thing that we can offer is leading with love. Leading lovingly as God has designed us. In both our homes and also in the world. For Jesus lead with love, God leads us lovingly through this life. Friend, are you living a life, leading with love?

Philippians 2:3-4 NIV
Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interest but each of you to the interests of the others.
