“Let’s go outside and play in the puddle.” I sat in my long chair as my youngest jumped in a makeshift puddle. Before we knew it my oldest was outside with his water toy. As the sun beat down on me, as my dog ate dandelions. It is there where I felt a sense of peace come over me and I was joyful at just being outside with my boys, enjoying their youth. It was nothing big or extravagant that we did. It was just us, outside, enjoying the warmth of God’s sun and making memories. It’s been a harder week this week and we needed more of this. Time outside, enjoying this life that God has blessed us with. Being a mom with her son’s, taking the beauty of this life in. A blessing from God, that I always cherish.

  Friend, may we enjoy this life however big or in small ways. For the breath in our lungs is a blessing. The sun on our back is like a warm hello from God and the joy of our children in our lives; a reminder of the sweetness that this life has to offer. May we enjoy this life in which God has given us.
