God’s time

In his time, not my own

In the waiting, my faith grown

The trusting of His bigger plan

How truly loved, that I am

The clock hands dance clockwise

Nothing to Him, not one, a surprise

Minutes click, as hours pass by

On His time, no need for why

His plans bigger, that I can create

With all my patience, I shall wait

In His time, not my own

He’s been faithful, through time shown

Though I plead, for my will

I know His plan is better still

Time was created by his hands

How can I not trust the timing of His plans

In this life, He knows vastly more than I

If He holds the answers, dare I question why

His timing, I must appreciate

With my trust, I shall wait

For with such love, was I made

With such love, my debt was paid

In His timing, His plan is shown

With my faith, being grown

Clocks are for human count and pleasure

But timing with God, cannot be measured

For His purpose, His plan, all part of the design

As I wait in faith, on God’s time

Lamentations 3:25-26

The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
