Miracles only He can do

I still remember lying beside my youngest son in a twin hospital bed. Not wanting to leave him, for any longer than I had to. He had multiple Hospital stays and many doctor visits. He had an ailment with no name. I remember being on edge as we awaited his test results. I remember pleading with God for answers and that He would make my little boy better again. I still remember reading a devotional in his private room in the children’s hospital; somehow that daily devotion being exactly what I needed for the day. I still remember the tears in his eyes, on that little face. I remember so much. Yet, it does not ache like it did; as I know that, that same little boy got a miracle from God. Though his sickness at the time still does not have a name, we got our answer of healing in God. It was not until I fully surrendered, did we though. In that moment of full surrender, my little boy was healed. Though I am sure I could write a book about it; for now, at least, I want you friend to know this; God heals. Doctors cannot always explain it, but God is our great healer. A tiny scar remains on my son’s stomach; it is a reminder that God is good and of his miracle that he got when he was only a toddler. Friend, if you need healing in your life; whether physical, emotional, mental, give it all to God. Surrender to Him and watch what only He can do. The greatest physician is God. Though medical personnel, are a blessing and an asset; we must keep God as our ultimate healer. For a heart that surrenders, to the one who made it; finds healing, that only He can provide.
