Friend, do you like hot chocolate getting served lukewarm? Or how about a cold glass of water being served lukewarm? If you are like most of us, these situations would lead you displeased. Friend, when our faith is served lukewarm, God is displeased. We cannot be on fire for God, but enjoy the coldness of this world. We are either on fire for God or we are not. We cannot say we love Him, then live ungodly lives. Although we will all make mistakes from time to time; God knows when we are intentionally all in for Him, or in for ourselves. Every time we lust for the sin of this world, we are being unfaithful to Him. We cannot serve God and this world. Our love for God must not be lukewarm. Friend, though it is true God loves us as sinners; that does not mean we only love Him some of the time. It is one thing to sin and truly repent. It is another to say we love Him, yet, not ever be truly sorry and live as we are called. Though God is loving, He is also just. Friend, we must ask ourselves; what is the degree of our faith? For a heart that truly loves God, has faith served just right.

Revelation 3:15-16 NKJV
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.
II Timothy 3:5 NKJV
having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
James 4:4 NKJV
Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
