God works in wonderful ways

God works in wonderful ways. I read an article recently about the miraculous rescue of a three-year-old boy. Though the article did not share all the details, it shared enough on just how wonderful God works. The toddler had been missing and while the police were out looking for him, a random dog approached them. It was barking at them and acting as though it wanted the police to follow him. Fortunately, the police did. They have no idea where this dog had come from, but it is as if God had sent the dog to help rescue this little boy. That’s exactly what happened too. The police were led to the small boy and the boy was safely returned to his parents. I am so happy that the child was safe and that he and his family were able to be reunited. Whether big things, small things, or in-between things, it is so amazing how God works things out for our good. Friend, may we find comfort and peace in God and His abilities to help us in our time of need. I sit here thinking about how God used that dog for His purpose, to help that boy and His family. God surely works in wonderful, and even at times, mysterious ways.

Ecclesiastes 11:5 NIV

As you do not know the path of the wind, or how the body is formed in a mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the work of God, the Maker of all things.

Job 5:9 NIV

He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted.
