Relationship with God

I think we get so caught up in life and its busyness that we just seemingly get too tired to hear what God is trying to say. Too tired to read the Bible. Too tired for devotionals. Too tired for prayer. Although somehow, we don’t seem to be too tired to do other things. God always wants a relationship with us. Yet, often, we are tired in our faith and don’t invest in Him. This life will keep us too busy for God, if we let it. Though He is exactly what we need in life, to navigate it. Friend, may we slow down and prioritize God. There is nothing more important than having that relationship with Him. Everything else can flow from that relationship with Him, and life is so much better when we do.

Relationship with God

James 4:8 NIV

Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

John 15:4 NIV

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.

Matthew 6:33 NIV

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Psalm 16:11 NIV

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
