My husband and I are currently working on a decent sized project. Both of us learning new skills along the way. Following each step to make sure it comes together right. Board by board as we create something special for our family. I cannot wait until the project is over and seeing that final result. Though there is beauty in the process too. For we are creating something together as we learn new things and grow as a couple. Someday soon enough everything will be completed and we will all be able to celebrate. Though in the process we celebrate every step toward our goal as we pray to God to help us complete it. Life is like this in a way. We are constantly building our character with the work we put into it. Everyday learning something new. Creating, growing, building ourselves to be our best selves. Someday life will be finished, our goals hopefully being met and we will see the end result. Did we walk with God and live as He has called? Someday this life will be completed. Did we follow His instruction and live this life right? I sure hope so. For if so, that will be a day to celebrate! I hear my husband in the distance hammering away and I smile. For I know that he is taking these steps just as instructed. I know that day will come and our project will be finished and we can fully rest and know, we did it right, the project is complete.
