Lived with love

Where’s the brake, it’s going so fast

I want to enjoy the scenery, make the moment last

But with the ticking of the clock hand

And the hourglasses sand

Time swiftly passes by

What remains is memories, and oh how the time did fly

Babies become children, then teens, and then they’re grown

Then we laugh, oh how the time has flown

Though secretly we grieve of a time long ago

While still celebrating, how in life we all did grow

They say its bittersweet, how time passes

Enjoying all the stages, yet, wanting it all to last us

Though that’s why we must make the most of it

Every single moment, every bit

For God has given us a new day

To soak it up, to laugh, live, and pray

To walk with Him, to Love Him and others well

So, we can live it fully, to truly live it swell

We cannot hit an invisible brake

But we can live it well, with the life we make

We can live it fully, even though it goes fast

As we live it with love, making every moment last

What a blessing from God above

To have a life, lived with love
