When I was a little girl, I had preconceived misconceptions on certain people of the world. I believed that doctors knew everything medically and could heal almost everything. I thought teachers were the smartest and knew everything academically. I believed that religious leaders were all good and safe, with all knowledge and wisdom. I thought that the president and those in power only ever had our best interests in mind. I also thought that celebrities were cool and maybe somewhat superhuman. Oh, and I thought the news was always true and accurate… Like I said, misconception. Though I was naive and wanted to believe that we were all somehow more than we really were. Obviously, though gifted in their field, doctors don’t know everything, and as a medical community are constantly learning and can’t always heal like a magical wand. Though God can heal and still does miracles. Teachers are smart, though not every subject may be their forte. They don’t know everything academically. God knows it all though. Unfortunately, not all religious leaders are safe and walking with God. Though God is always our refuge and anyone can walk with Him. Even the best president or political figures, are still far from perfect. There are even some that live by bad agendas. Though God still reigns. Oh celebrities, their just people that are gifted in their trade. Though God is the creator of all things good. The news isn’t always factual either. We must do our own research sometimes. Though the Bible, is always reliable. Friend, we live in a sinful world, and we’re all just human. All gifted with the potential to use those gifts for God’s glory. No matter where God calls us. With that being said, through God, we can do great things! Though knowing what I know now as an adult, people are people. Even the best of them are not perfect. Though no matter who we encounter for whatever reason, we can still find peace. For we have God, who is perfect. I share this as a reminder, that most of us all just doing our best. Though when we have God walking with us, our best can be pretty incredible. And we can always depend on Him.

Always depend on Him
Isaiah 40:6-8 NIV
A voice says, “Cry out.” And I said, “What shall I cry?” “All people are like grass, and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.”
