Tenderly loved

Do you need a heating pad? My husband asked me this as I was having some pain. I loved that he thought of it first and truly wanted to help me. I do live with some chronic conditions that can interfere with daily life, at times. I’m so very grateful to have an understanding husband who dotes on me and takes good care of me. He doesn’t get frustrated at me and encourages me to rest when I need to. He also does whatever he can do for me, to help me feel better. There are times I get discouraged, frustrated and feel bad that I can’t always feel the way that I’d like to. Though his love isn’t conditional on how well I am feeling, but he loves me fully and unconditionally. This is what real love looks like. This is the kind of love that God calls us to. To love one another fully, selflessly, kindly. Friend, may we be there for one another. For God is there unconditionally for us. May we too, love like that. Right now, I’m not feeling the best, but I do feel a little better knowing that I am loved so tenderly.

Tenderly loved

Galatians 5:13 NIV

You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.

Hebrews 13:16 NIV

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

John 15:12 NIV

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
