Something humbling that I have come to find

That I am not as good as what I had in mind

For I have to come to notice that I am still working to be

All that God has planned for me

For I am still a sinner, and I am learning too

To become more like you Jesus, as I walk with you

I get mad when someone acts unkind

Though I’ve had my moments too I find

People frustrate me and I get mad

Though my response, is sometimes bad

I am no better, if I don’t respond like Jesus would

If love isn’t my answer, like it should

I have been humbled, though I am learning still

To not feed on emotion, but to act on His will

For something that I have come to find

I need God to guide my heart and my mind
