Someone recently did something that not only was offensive and inappropriate to my husband and I, but to others as well. In my anger, I told my husband I wanted to throw a snowball at that person. Not enough to super hurt them, just pelt them good with a snowball. Then, my husband reminded me that I needed to pray for them. What this person did was super disrespectful to a lot of people. Though I knew that he was right. Clearly this person needed prayer. It is so hard to pray for people who don’t seem to deserve it. Though it is not our place for vengeance. God knows how to properly handle things. But by praying for them we are able to release our animosity and have peace in our hearts. Knowing also, that God will sort all things out. We must not let their wicked deed, turn us wicked too. Friend, if someone recently wronged you or someone else, stand your ground, but do so in a way as Jesus would. Then pray for them, and let God be God.

Let God handle it

Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.
