The seemingly simple things. Like getting up in the morning, opening the curtains and watching the sun shine through the windows. Kids’ Toys scattered around, where fun was had. Your animals greeting you excitedly at the door. Church members welcoming you. Friends to be silly with. Your kids being a little wild, yet in the most joyful way possible. The kind smile of a stranger. The hug from your spouse. The laughter of your children. The love of family. I could go on and on about the daily things that are more special than we realize. These are not big moments, though they are some of the most beautiful ones. Ones filled with blessings from God. Friend, we don’t always need the big extravagant vacations or things. Although from time to time those are nice when able. Though the special moments that we can cherish the most, are the every day, seemingly ordinary, blessings from God. May we soak it all up, enjoy it all, and savor this life and all that God has blessed us with.
