I can’t carry a weight that wasn’t meant to be mine
Only God can fix things, in His time
I can’t hold the world in my hands
But God He can, and isn’t that grand
That God Himself will carry us through
Holding us, and helping us too
I was not meant to carry burdens alone
Or carry things that I don’t own
I am not God, I shall not try to be
For I am only human, I’m just me
Though I have God and that’s the best
To be held by my Savior, truly I am blessed
I can’t carry a weight, though I know God can
I’m so grateful He holds the world in His hands

In His hands
Psalm 95:4-5 NIV
In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land.
Isaiah 49:16 NIV
See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
Psalm 123:2 NIV
As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he shows us his mercy.
