Walking with God

There were times where I lost sight of God, but I’m so grateful that he never lost sight of me. I think back to my younger days. I have aways loved God, but there were times where I didn’t walk with Him. I didn’t have a relationship with Him. Love was there, but I didn’t fully act on it. As I have gotten older, I realize that having that relationship with God is the most important thing I can ever do. For everything in my life flows from that. As the closer I walk with God, because of God, I know my heart is changed and in the best way possible. I see the world different and I want to live a life in which pleases and honors God. I want to spend eternity with Him. So, when I think back to those years I lost sight of God, I’m grateful He didn’t give up on me. That He knew who I could be and never lost sight of me.

Walking with God

Psalm 139:1-3 NIV

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.

Psalm 139:23-24 NIV

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 23:6 NIV

Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
